Bidding Queries - Unfortunately HMT are unable to provide advice concerning specific policy areas for bids. Relevant departmental contacts are listed in the guidance for any queries on Expression of Interest and priority areas.

Local Authorities each local authority will be restricted to being a partner to only one expression of interest and therefore, if that proposal is invited to the final stage, to one formal bid.

Process Rounds 1- 8

Bidding Process - After Announcement

	Description		Detail
	Expression of Interest (EOI) Period		Expressions of interest are invited from innovative, cross cutting projects.
	Expression of Interest Assessment Period		Expressions of Interest are assessed by HM Treasury and Cabinet Office.
	Decision on Expression of Interest		ISB Committee sits to consider assessments and compile final package of projects who will be invited to submit full bids. Chief Secretary of the Treasury approves final package.
	Projects Notified of Results		Projects notified of assessment results. Formal bids invited. Project presentation workshops (bidders have the opportunity to briefly demonstrate their projects in support of their written bid).
	Assessment of Formal Bids		Full assessment of formal bids by spending teams, policy units and Treasury economists.
	Final Results Announced		ISB committee sits to decide on winning package. Sign of by CST. Announcement of winning bids.
